ASSIGNMENTS
Written assignments in Level 1 Horse Care are designed to support and develop learners’ knowledge and understanding of horse care and stable management. Learners will complete a variety of tasks such as worksheets, posters, quizzes, fact files, short written answers, matching activities, presentations and workbooks linked to the units they are studying. Topics may include horse behaviour, feeding, grooming equipment, stable safety, health and welfare, breeds and colours, and daily care routines. Assignments are adapted where needed to suit individual learning styles and abilities, with staff providing guidance and support to help learners build confidence, improve communication skills and demonstrate their understanding in different ways.
